CSA Refund and Cancellation Policy

All CSA (Community Supported Agriculture) subscriptions are sold as non-refundable.

By purchasing a CSA subscription from Tavaputs Farm, the purchaser acknowledges and agrees that CSA funds are paid in advance to support the upfront and ongoing costs of farm operations. These costs include, but are not limited to, seeds, plants, soil inputs, infrastructure, equipment, labor, and general operating expenses. CSA payments are not held in reserve and are immediately allocated toward farm production.

Accordingly, no refunds will be issued for CSA subscriptions, including but not limited to circumstances involving cancellation by the customer, changes in personal circumstances, dissatisfaction with products, weather-related impacts, crop variability, or farm production challenges.

In the sole and absolute discretion of Tavaputs Farm, a refund may be considered on an exception basis. Approval of any refund is not guaranteed and shall not be construed as a waiver of this policy for any future transaction. If a refund is approved, the following conditions shall apply:

  • Refunds will be issued at the sole discretion of Tavaputs Farm.
  • Refunds will not be processed until the farm is in full production during the following growing season, if at all.
  • Approved refunds may take up to 240 days from the date of cancellation to be issued.
  • Refunds will be issued by check unless otherwise determined by Tavaputs Farm.

By purchasing a CSA subscription, the purchaser affirms that they have read, understand, and agree to this Refund and Cancellation Policy and acknowledge the inherent risks associated with community-supported agriculture.

This policy applies to all CSA subscriptions without exception


Photography Booking and Payment Policy

A non-refundable retainer at the time of booking to secure your session date and time. The remaining balance, if applicable, is due prior to or on the day of your session.

Cancellation and Rescheduling

Photography sessions may be rescheduled due to weather, illness, or unforeseen circumstances at the photographers discretion. Cancellations are non-refundable. Rescheduling requests must be made at least 48 hours prior to scheduled sessions.

Weather Policy

Photography sessions that are held outdoors and are weather dependent. In the event of unsafe weather conditions, sessions may be rescheduled at the photographers discretion. Overcast skies, light wind, and seasonal conditions are not considered grounds for cancellation.

Late Arrival Policy

Please arrive on time for your scheduled session. Late arrivals may result in reduced time ad cannot be extended.

Image Delivery and Editing Policy

Images are professionally edited in the photographers signature style. Raw, unedited images are not provided. Gallery delivery timelines will be communicated at the time of booking. image delivery timelines are estimates and may vary during peak season. Timelines will be communicated at the time of booking.

Client Responsibilities and Conduct Policy

Clients are responsible for the behavior and safety of all participants during the session. Tavaputs Farm is an active farm environment; clients agree to follow all posted rules and instructions provided during their visit.

Image Usage and Copyright Policy

Copyright and Photographer Rights

All photography taken at Tavaputs Farm remain the sole property and copyright of the photographer, in accordance with United States copyright law. Tavaputs Farm retains the unrestricted right to use all images for portfolio display, website content, marketing, advertising, publication, and promotional proposes unless otherwise agreed to in writing.

Client Usage Licence

Clients are granted to a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the delivered images for personal use only This includes printing images for personal display and sharing images on social media accounts.

Usage Restrictions

  • Alter, Edit or apply filters to the images
  • Remove watermarks (if applicable)
  • Use images for commercial proposes without written permision
  • Sell, License,, or distribute to third parties
  • Submit images to publications, contests, or vendors without written consent

Social Media and Credit

When sharing images online, credit to Tavaputs Farm Photography is appreciated when possible.

Commercial Use

Any commercial use of images – including but not limited to business promotion, advertising, publication, or resell – requires prior written permission and may be subject to additional licensing fees.

Model Release Clarification

If a client prefers their images not be used for marketing or promotional proposes, this must be requested in writing prior to the session. The photographer retains the full copyright to all images created.

Clients may request limited or no public use of their images; however, such requests must be submitted in writing prior to the session and are not guaranteed.

Unless expressly agreed in writing by the photographer, Tavaputs Farm and its photographer reserve the right to use all images for portfolio display, website content, marketing materials, social media, advertising, editorial use, and self promotion, as permitted by law.

Verbal requests or assumptions regarding image usage are not binding, Only written agreement signed by both parties will restrict image use.

Session Pricing reflects the inclusion of portfolio, marketing, and promotional usage. Requests to restrict image use may require alternate arrangements or adjusted terms ad must be approved in writing by the photographer.

Creative Control Policy

Artistic style, composition, and editing are at the sole discretion of the photographer. image selections and final edits reflect the photographers professional judgment.

Explicit “NO GUARANTEE” results clause

While every effort is made to capture meaningful and high-quality images, no specific poses, expressions, moments, or outcomes are guaranteed.

Agritourism and Assumption Risk Policy – Colorado Agritourism Liability Act

Tavaputs Farm is an active agriculture operation. By entering the property, visitors acknowledge that agritourism activities involve inherent risks, including but not limited to uneven ground, natural terrain, plants, insects, weather conditions, farm equipment, and animals.

Visitors voluntarily assume all risks associated with entering the farm and participating in any activities, including photography sessions, events, or venue rentals.

Uneven Ground and Outdoor Conditions Notice

The farm contains natural terrain, including uneven ground, dirt pathways, and changing conditions. Appropriate footwear is strongly recommended. Tavaputs Farm is not responsible for injuries resulting from slips, falls, or other conditions inherent to a farm environment.

By entering Tavaputs Farm, visitors agree to release and hold harmless Tavaputs Farm, its owners, operators, and representatives from liability for injuries, damages, or losses resulting inherent risks of agritourism activities, except where prohibited by law

Children must be supervised at all times while on the farm. Tavaputs Farm is not responsible for injuries resulting from unsupervised children or failure to follow safety guidelines.

Due to the natural landscape of the farm, some areas may not be accessible to all visitors.

Activities may be adjusted, rescheduled, or cancelled due to weather or unsafe conditions at the discretion of Tavaputs Farm.


Property Damage Policy

Clients are responsible for any damage to farm property, structures, flowers, landscaping, or props caused by themselves or members to their party.

Personal Belongings Disclaimer

Tavaputs Farm is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged personal items while on the property.

Visitors are encouraged to wear appropriate footwear and clothing for outdoor farm conditions.

Access is limited to designated areas only. Entry into restricted areas is prohibited.

Safety and Compliance Policy

Tavaputs Farm reserves the right to end a session or visit if safety guidelines are not followed.

Alcohol and Substance Policy

Alcohol and substances are not permitted on the property unless approved in advance and in accordance of Colorado and local laws.

Drone Policy

Drone usage is prohibited but any visitor, photographer, client

Force Majeure/Acts of God

Tavaputs Farm is not liable for delays, cancellations, or interruptions due to circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to weather events, natural disasters, or government restrictions.

By booking a session or entering the property, visitors acknowledge they have read, understand, and agree to these policies.

The farm environment includes natural allergens such as pollen, trees, plants, and uneven terrain. Visitors assume all associated risks, including allergic reactions.


Surveillance and Recording Notice

Tavaputs Farm utilizes video surveillance for safety, security, operational, legal, and business purposes. By entering the property, visitors acknowledge and consent to being recorded in areas where video surveillance is in use. Surveillance footage may be used for security review, legal matters, training, marketing, website content, and social media, in accordance with applicable laws. Cameras are not placed in areas where individuals have reasonable expectations of privacy.
