About Tavaputs Farm

Our Story
Tavaputs Farm started in 2020 with a simple goal: growing seedlings and vegetables to share with our local community. But when COVID hit, our plans changed — suddenly, no one was coming out to buy seedlings.

One day, during a conversation with my sales rep, I explained that I was stuck with hundreds of plants. He looked at the seeds I had ordered, went through the list with me, and asked a question that changed everything: “Why don’t you start a flower farm?”

He explained what it would take and how to get started, and I took the leap. Over the years, flowers have taken over the field, while vegetables now grow on a smaller part of the property. Each season, I fall more in love with the process — from planting and nurturing to harvesting and sharing the blooms.

Photography has always been a passion of mine, and the flowers became a perfect partner in that creative journey. Walking through the fields brings me an incredible sense of peace and joy. Seeing the blooms grow and flourish has become a way for me to connect with nature and share that happiness with others.
